it's when you're majorly grounded over christmas break that you find that you have time to tediously work on your website. so here i am.
I burnt my nail today. I didn't even know that you could burn your nails.
Stealing this writing down of random items from Aubrey
I want to...
1. go to a concert (i haven't been to one in forever!)
2. get the new lifehouse cd
3. get a job.
4. buy a car. (notice how "get a job" came first)
5. blog more often.
6. have an interest in opening up my Photoshop again.
7. watch the first season of Alias.
8. visit Virginia Tech.
9. hang out with my friend Grace more.
10. work on the Crossfire website.
11. talk to my older sisters more often.
12. develop a better relationship with my two younger sisters.
There it is. A kind of to do list that I never would have written down if I hadn't decided to blog. We were talking about the internet and all that in business class the other day, and talking about how blogging has become the fastest way to spread news and blah blah. My teacher asked if anyone actually writes in a blog. I sheepishly raised my hand. I seem to be a loner in my classes concerning alot of things. Mainly because I'm one of the scarce Republicans. Yes, I did just say that I am a Republican.
This week is my spring break, although it hasn't really felt like it. The weather is still freezing, hardly resembling any kind of spring weather, and I still have lots of homework.
Does it seem like to anyone else that there's more Lost re-runs than there is actual new episodes? Sheesh.
Stay tuned for next time! Toodaloo. Thanks Aubrey, Jennifer, Jovonna Rose, Kristin, Jen, and Julia.
Did everyone enjoy their President's Day break? For those of us who did get the day off, anyway. I loved it. Not having to go to class on Monday was exhilirating. I still did studying that day though. My sister who goes to UVA was home for the weekend, and she was about to leave Sunday night and she asked if I wanted to go back with her. It was so random...but it was fun. I can't believe how much walking you have to do once you're in college. It's crazy. You would think everyone in college would have great leg muscles. I love the UVA libraries too. Huge tables, comfy chairs, tons of computers...you can even borrow one of their laptops to bring back to your table! In short, I probably had more fun at the library than a normal person should.
On Wednesday Jen came over! We were on a walk for over two hours even though it was freezing outside. There's a wooded area with paths in the neighborhood behind my house that's nice to walk in. There's this one place that I like to go- it's under a bridge, and it sounds really weird when the cars go by over you. I decided it was time to go though when we saw this crowd of people sitting on the grass on a hill- it was so weird. We were afraid it was a cult, so we were outta there, lol.
And on Thursday my classes got cancelled cause of snow!!! Yay, I at least got one snow day. Well I still had History, which kinda sucked because then I still had to get up early. But I don't mind going to History. I love the people in my class, and I love my teacher. It was my two classes after that that I was glad got cancelled
Grr. Hackers got into my guestbook. I tried to figure out what they did, because I can still get into my admin panel, but I think it's an override, because when I go to my guestbook it starts loading as normal but then it overrides it, the screen goes black, and "net devil" shows across the top along with other unpleasant words and the song "Eat It" is playing in the baclground. Has anyone gotten something like this? If I can't figure it out, I'll just have to delete my guestbook. Grr. Stupid hackers.
Today a family that we have been friends with forever is coming over. We have this thing where we celebrate everyone's birthdays in the last six months and Christmas. haha, it's funny to have like 12 different people blowing at a cake.
